BBC Make a Difference Fundraiser Award

Hollie Benson and her wonderful team have won the BBC Make a Difference Fundraiser Award 2025. They have raised over £28,000 for Silver Star by running a market stall in Bicester every Friday. Hollie received treatment from the Silver Star/FMU unit resulting in the safe delivery of her daughter Aliyana.

Her team of Simon (husband), Carol (Mum), Matthew (brother) and friend Rita are pictured with their award. We are so very grateful to this amazing group whose kindness and dedication are making a meaningful difference to Maternity Services in Oxfordshire.
